ESTIU 24
Motion System — Concept, Design & Post-production
Gazpacho Studio × FESTIVAL GREC
Barcelona
2024
A motion system built around fire, transformation and unpredictability.
Created for Festival Grec, the system consists of a family of moving pieces designed to accompany different content across screens, presentations and information. By burning and transforming the imagery, each piece develops its own rhythm and behaviour while remaining part of the same visual language.
A system that changes as it burns, made to move alongside a programme of live performance.
PROJECT 01
Creative Development, Production & BTS
ARMAND BASI
Casa de la Moneda, Barcelona
2023
Turning the concept of tailoring on its head, drawing inspiration from British youth counterculture.
Working closely with the Creative Director, I helped shape the campaign from early concepts to its visual development — building presentations, connecting references and ideas, and translating them into a coherent graphic direction.
MARIPOSAS NEGRAS
Title Design
Gazpacho Studio × IKIRU FILMS
Barcelona
2025
A title that refuses to stay still.
Built in CGI, the opening sequence begins with typography that gradually breaks apart into thousands of black butterflies. What starts as language becomes movement, using transformation and fragmentation to echo a story shaped by climate displacement.
AVES DE CORRAL
Poster Design
ESCAC FILMS
Barcelona
2023
Some hens bite each other, others peck their own eggs and, thirsty, drink their yolks.
An alternative poster built from one of the film’s most unexpected frames. By tightly cropping the image and removing it from its original context, a small cinematic moment becomes something stranger, more ambiguous and slightly unsettling.
LOS SIN NOMBRE
Title Design
Gazpacho Studio × MOVISTAR
Barcelona
2025
A title sequence built around distance, absence and the space between things.
Words are stretched apart, leaving unusual amounts of empty space between them. The typography becomes colder and more isolated as a result, reflecting the emotional distance and unease that run through the series.
Emptiness becomes part of the title.
LOS PEQUEÑOS AMORES
Post-production Supervision & Title Design
Post Flow × ARCADIA PICTURES
Barcelona
2023
Post-production supervision that unexpectedly turned into a small graphic intervention.
The title appears during one of the film’s most playful everyday moments, as the mother stands in front of a fan trying to escape the summer heat at night. A very pale pastel blue breaks subtly from the dark image, giving the typography a presence that feels soft and tender without becoming overly sentimental.
Much like the film itself, the title finds warmth in an ordinary moment.
LA SOCIEDAD DE LA NIEVE
Post-production Coordination
Post Flow × NETFLIX
Barcelona
2022
From mountain to master.
A production of this scale doesn’t end when the camera stops rolling. Society of the Snow involved a post-production pipeline as complex as the shoot itself. Footage and materials were constantly moving through editorial, VFX, laboratory, colour, sound and delivery.
Coordinating that flow meant keeping track of thousands of elements at once, making sure material reached the right place, in the right state, at the right moment — all the way from camera to final master.
TWERK SPECIMEN
Typeface & Processing
Self-initiated
Barcelona
2020
What if a type specimen could move instead of sitting still on a page?
Twerk Specimen explores an alternative way of presenting a typeface by replacing the traditional static specimen with movement. Built in Processing, video and typography are linked together so that the type responds through motion, turning the specimen itself into a performance.
A specimen that performs the type instead of displaying it.
PIDU
Mushroom, Natural Pigment & Mesh Printing
QOQOQO SUMMER SCHOOL
Lahemaa National Park, Estonia
2021
What if a poster could be grown? Exploring mushrooms as a graphic medium.
PIDU is a material experiment developed during a rural typography workshop in Estonia. Mushrooms were ground, dyed and applied through mesh to create different shapes and letterforms.
The process eventually became PIDU — Estonian for “party” — a typographic experiment created for the workshop’s closing celebration.
SKULPTUR PROJEKTE
Field Research & Visual Archive
Skulptur Projekte Münster
Münster
2017
Looking at the city as an exhibition space.
Skulptur Projekte Münster takes place once every ten years, placing newly commissioned works throughout the city rather than inside a conventional exhibition space. Visiting the 2017 edition became an exercise in observing, photographing and collecting ideas that challenged what I understood sculpture to be.
A research trip for finding better questions rather than fixed answers.
ANALOG FILTER
Optics, Photography & Physical Filters
QOQOQO SUMMER SCHOOL
Lahemaa National Park, Estonia
2019
What happens when an effect associated with digital image-making is reconstructed using only physical means?
Analog Filter explores image manipulation through optics, photography and handmade filters. Instead of altering the image after it is captured, different materials are placed between the camera and its subject, allowing distortion, reflection and interference to happen directly in front of the lens.
I’M POINTING AT YOU
Research on Surveillance Systems
Thesis
Barcelona
2017
How do you disappear when being seen has become the default?
I’m Pointing at You investigates surveillance systems and the visual mechanisms through which bodies are detected, identified and observed. The project explores strategies for becoming visible and invisible within systems designed to continuously look back at us.
LOST IN TRANSLATION
Scanning, Fax & Machine Knitting
Self-initiated
Barcelona
2020
What survives when an image keeps being translated?
An architectural image is scanned, transmitted by fax and finally translated into knit. Each process leaves its own trace: distortion, interference and loss become part of the image rather than errors to be corrected.
WOW
Notes, Zine & Graphic Objects
Codes & Display
PBSA School of Arts
Amsterdam, The Hague
2018
A visual record of a week spent drifting through museums, architecture, exhibitions and everything encountered in between.
Developed during Codes & Display at PBSA in the Netherlands, WOW brings together the images, notes and visual fragments collected along a series of dérives. The material was reorganised into a zine and a set of graphic objects that work somewhere between documentation and souvenir.
Not a guide to the journey, but something brought back from it.
VIERTEL FAHNEN
Data & Processing
PBSA School of Arts
Düsseldorf
2018
Same system. Different data. Generative outcome.
Viertel Fahnen is a generative experiment that translates demographic data from Düsseldorf’s neighbourhoods into visual patterns. Built in Processing, the same set of rules produces a different flag for each neighbourhood according to its demographic composition.
THE OBSERVER
Light & Camera
Self-initiated
Barcelona
2019
A surveillance camera appears to observe the space around it. But what happens when the direction of surveillance is reversed?
The Observer is an installation that turns the act of watching back onto itself. What initially appears to be the observer gradually becomes the observed, shifting the relationship between camera, space and viewer.

Collecting as a way of thinking.
An ongoing archive of images collected from books on conceptual and artistic jewellery. Photographing, collecting and organising these references became a way of training my eye before making — a starting point for finding unexpected connections and asking different questions.
